Below is our 'Original' Plan A, Having worked a 'Plan B' we are now on our third route: Plan C.

Below is our original Plan A and we will update the plan as we go but please read below for a rough description
A rough plan of our route.

A working concept of our adventure, although this is definately not set in stone, after all: the beauty of an adventure is stepping away from the beaten track and finding your own way; Making your own footsteps -  not following others! leaving the freedom to explore, take a chance and live life!

After all, Life is not a rehearsal.

Have a look at our planned route!

Plan C

Mongolia to Morocco

Ghobi to Sahara - Altai to Atlas

So our final route plan as we leave the Czech Republic in August looks something like this:

From Jana's home town of Rokycany in the Czech Republic across the mountains of nothern Slovakia where her fathers family hail from, North over Poland to Lithuania and Latvia, A day off (Maybe!) in Riga before onwards to Moscow.

From Moscow we will take the Trans-Siberian express to Irkutsk and ride around Lake Baikal en route to Mongolia's Ulaan Baatar, After stocking up in UB we'll head back westwards across the Altai mountain range towards Kazakhstan via a night back in Russia.

The Tian-Shan mountains of Kyrgyzstan are next on the route, weather and visa permitting, then working our way westward still across Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and a ferry across the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan. FRom there a relaxed (Hopefully) ride criss-crossing over Turkey with a few nights in Ankarra and Istanbul on the cards.

Hopefully catching the last of the good weather in southern Europe we plan to ride across Greece, Macedonia and Albania with a view to catch a ferry across to Italy and on to Sicily. Next up and still undecided is either Sardinia or Malta before sailing across to the North African Continent and taking on Tunisia and Algeria. With the border between Algeria and Morocco being closed we will either head around to Morocco via the southern overland route, or via a ferry to spain, Maybe stop for a night in Gibralter then back across the Med to Tangers and looping around Morocco before working our way home.
